The Conservatory at the Old Mill provides the perfect setting for your ceremony or blessing. Set in the peaceful and tranquil surroundings of what was a 14th Century Mill, the exposed brick walls add a timeless touch, infusing our interior with rustic Irish history and character.

In the background, you hear the water cascade across the waterfall which would have turned the Mill wheel in centuries gone by. This is a truly perfect setting to say “I do”.

With a capacity for up to 80 guests, ceremonies can take place anytime and can be performed any day of the week. Outdoor ceremonies and blessings can be held on the grounds.

Weather permitting, the drinks reception can take place around the grounds of the Old Mill. If the weather isn’t on our side, we can set up the drinks reception in our charming Mill Bar and Kiln Area.

Another unique option for your reception is our Táin Taproom. Located just behind the Old Mill and part of our working brewery, the Taproom is often used as a funky drinks reception area, with spacious outdoor grounds overlooking the stream and the Old Mill. It really is a little hidden gem.

Our very own brewed beers make yet another unique and interesting contribution to your special day – where else can your guests enjoy a Tholsel Blonde or a Taffes Red? We also have a full bar service full of your favourites. Oh did we mention you can even brew your own beer for the big day?
