Getting Ready to Reopen!

The past year hasn’t been easy on anyone. The hospitality industry took a real hit which was difficult for bars, restaurants and hotels across the country to navigate through. As you know, we were operating our Call & Collect Take-Out menu from early 2021, which went down a treat around Dundalk and Carlingford and it was great to be back in business in one shape or form.

We had been waiting in the wings for a reopening date for many weeks and are delighted to be able to share that we will be reopening our doors for outdoor dining on Thursday June 10th, 2021!

We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to enhance the customer experience for all our guests and we are so excited to show you all what we’ve been up to. We’ve repainted and revamped all our outdoor areas and built on an extension to our heated outdoor dining terrace which will now give visitors the option to dine overlooking the beautiful running stream at the side of our Tain Taproom. We are also in the process of extending our indoor dining layout which makes room for larger group bookings and have fitted an indoor wood fired pizza oven too! Loads to get excited about!

“In the time we had to reflect during the imminent lockdowns, we made the decision to take a look at the place overall and do what we could to enhance the experience for everyone who came to pay us a visit, whether for a few beers and a wood fired pizza or to host an event or wedding with us. We also found that smaller weddings were becoming a thing even more than ever with limited numbers being allowed at weddings so we made a decision in the lockdown to promote not only the old mill for weddings of all sizes but we now have the Tain Taproom for smaller more intimate weddings too. Really quirky, rustic style weddings with charcuterie platter picnics, pig on a spit and we’ve loads more options so we’ve loads going on and we’re excited now to hit the ground running when we reopen our doors now in June.” – Des Goldrick, Owner of the Carlingford Brewing Company.

We are also excited about a new ecommerce website we will be launching within the next few weeks. A platform where you don’t need to be in the brewery or taproom to enjoy the exciting range of craft beers brewed in the brewery on-site. This website will enable you to buy the beers online and have them delivered to your door so you can enjoy them in the comfort of your own home.

The most exciting thing is that we are now taking bookings for outdoor dining, resuming on Thursday June 10th and have even extended our opening days, which will now be from Thursday to Sunday every week. For booking enquiries or any other information, please email info@carlingfordbrewing.ie.
